To connect the Dell KB740 Compact Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard to your computer using USB, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Make sure the receiver is securely inserted.
2. Turn on the keyboard by sliding the power switch located on the bottom of the keyboard to the "On" position. The power indicator light on the keyboard should illuminate.
3. Once the keyboard is turned on, it will automatically start searching for the USB receiver. The keyboard and receiver will establish a connection.
4. Wait for a few moments until the keyboard is successfully connected to the USB receiver. The power indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain steady.
5. Test the keyboard by typing on it. It should now work properly with your computer.
If the keyboard is still not working after following these steps, please ensure that the USB receiver is inserted into a working USB port and that the keyboard is within the operating range of the receiver (typically around 10 meters). You may also try restarting your computer and repeating the connection process.
