To connect the Xbox WL3-00130 Gears 5 Wireless Controller to your console, follow these steps:
1. If you're using a wireless controller, turn on your console and controller by pressing the Xbox button on the controller. The Xbox button will flash, indicating that the controller is searching for a connection.
2. If you're using a wired controller, plug the USB end of the cable into a USB port on your console and plug the other end into the bottom of your controller.
3. Wait for a few seconds. The Xbox button on the controller will continue to glow when the controller is successfully connected to the console.
Note: If the controller doesn't turn on, check the batteries or make sure the USB cable is securely connected.
