To connect your Motorola MB7220 cable modem to your computer or other devices, follow these steps:
1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet (LAN) port on the back of the modem.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your computer or other device.
3. Make sure your modem is powered on by checking that the On/Off button is in the "On" position.
4. Wait for the green online connection light on the front panel of the modem to stop flashing and remain solidly lit. This may take up to 15 minutes.
5. Once the online connection light is solidly lit, you should have internet access on the device connected to the modem.
Note: If you want to connect a router to your modem, it is recommended to do so after the modem is activated. Follow the instructions provided in the user guide for setting up the router and connected devices.
