Cleaning the Tysonir NLZQ-1 Bug Zapper 4200V is a simple process. Here are the steps to clean it:
1. Turn off and unplug the bug zapper from the power source.
2. Remove the collection tray located at the bottom of the bug zapper. This tray collects dead insects.
3. Empty the contents of the collection tray into a trash bag or bin.
4. Use the provided brush or a soft brush to gently remove any remaining debris or insect remains from the electrical grid and mesh screen.
5. If needed, you can wash the mesh screen with mild soap and water to remove any stubborn dirt or residue. Make sure to dry it thoroughly before reassembling.
6. Reassemble the bug zapper by placing the cleaned collection tray back into its position.
7. Plug the bug zapper back into the power source and turn it on.
It is recommended to clean the bug zapper at least once a week or as needed to maintain its effectiveness. Regular cleaning helps ensure proper functioning and prolongs the lifespan of the bug zapper.
