To install the UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter, please follow these steps:
1. Plug the UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter into an available USB port on your computer.
2. Connect an RJ-45 cable from your router or switch to the RJ-45 port on the UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter.
3. Connect an RJ-45 cable from your computer's network card (NIC) to the RJ-45 port on the UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter.
4. Connect your desired devices, such as printers or storage drives, to any of the four available ports on the UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter.
5. Power up your computer.
6. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
7. Right-click on Network adapter connected via cable > Properties.
8. Go to Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties.
9. Click on "Use the following IP address."
10. Enter the IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS provided by your network administrator or Internet service provider. If you're unsure, you can usually leave these settings as "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically."
11. Click OK.
12. Restart your computer.
13. Go back into Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
14. Click on "Local Area Connection."
15. Click Properties.
16. Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click Properties.
17. Click on "Use the following DNS server addresses."
18. Enter the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server provided by your network administrator or Internet service provider. If you're unsure, you can usually leave these settings as "Obtain DNS server address automatically."
19. Click OK.
20. Restart your computer.
21. Open Internet Explorer.
22. Go into Tools > Internet Options.
23. Go into Connections.
24. Select LAN Settings.
25. Uncheck "Automatically detect settings."
26. Check "Use a proxy server."
27. Enter the Proxy Server Address and Port provided by your network administrator or Internet service provider. If you're unsure, you can usually leave these settings blank.
28. Click OK.
29. Restart your computer.
30. Open Internet Explorer.
31. Test your internet connection by browsing websites. If you are able to browse websites successfully, you have successfully installed your UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter!
