To switch between measuring object and body temperature on the Ketodoc B087YKTY5X thermometer, you need to press the surface/forehead temperature switch button. This button is located on the thermometer's handle. By pressing this button, you can toggle between the two measurement modes. When measuring body temperature, aim the sensor/probe tip at the forehead, keeping a measurement distance of 1cm to 6cm (0.4in-2.4in). The temperature result will be displayed on the LCD screen. When measuring object temperature, point the thermometer at the object and press the trigger button to measure its temperature. The measurement range for objects is 32 – 212°F (0 – 100°C).
