To program the EHEIM 3581090 Programmable Automatic Food Dispenser, follow these steps:
1. Start by setting the current time:
- Press the SET button. The hours will blink.
- Use the + button to set the desired hour.
- Press the MODE button. The minutes will blink.
- Use the + button to set the desired minutes.
- Press the SET button to store the current time.
2. Programming feeding times:
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the feeding times (1 to 4).
- When the desired feeding time is displayed, press the SET button. The hours will blink.
- Use the + button to set the desired hour.
- Press the MODE button. The minutes will blink.
- Use the + button to set the desired minutes.
- Press the SET button to store the feeding time.
3. Setting the feeding mode:
- The upper line of the display shows the feeding mode options.
- No arrow: The time is stored, but no feeding occurs.
- 1 arrow: The feed container rotates once.
- 2 arrows: The feed container rotates twice with a 1-minute interval.
4. Manual operation:
- To manually feed outside the programmed times, press the "EHEIM" manual feeding button.

Please ensure that you have inserted fresh alkaline batteries and that they are properly installed.
