To clean the BLACK+DECKER CBG110S Coffee Grinder, it is recommended to follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Wash the lid with warm water and dish soap. Do not put the lid in the dishwasher.
3. Wipe the grinding bowl, base, and other parts with a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Take special care around the blades as they are sharp.
4. Dry all parts thoroughly. Do not immerse the grinding bowl, base, or plug in liquid or under running water.
5. Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive cleansers, or scouring pads to clean any part.
6. To remove residue or aromas left behind by nuts, grind one tablespoon of baking soda in the bowl, then wipe thoroughly.
7. Use the built-in cord wrap on the underside of the unit to store the cord.
It is important to note that the grinding bowl, base, and other parts should not be washed in the dishwasher or submerged in water. Following these cleaning instructions will help maintain the performance and longevity of your coffee grinder.
