To assemble the Carex FGB15300 0000 Tub Transfer Bench, follow these steps:
1. Start by mounting the seat and stand. Place the seat on top of the stand, aligning the holes on the seat with the holes on the stand. Insert the provided screws through the holes and tighten them securely using a screwdriver or the provided tool.
2. Next, attach the backrest to the inner adjustable spring. Line up the holes on the backrest with the holes on the spring and insert the screws through the holes. Tighten the screws securely.
3. To place the transfer bench in the tub, adjust the stand to the desired height. The bench can be raised from 16 to 20 inches. Adjust the height by extending or retracting the legs. Make sure all four legs are adjusted to the same height for stability.
4. Once the bench is at the desired height, place it fully inside the tub or position it half inside and half outside the tub for safe transfers.
