To set the BN-LINK U57 Outdoor 24 Hour Water Resistant Photocell Countdown Timer to turn on at dusk and remain on for a specific number of hours, follow these steps:
1. Plug the timer into an outdoor-rated 3-pronged grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
2. Set the desired operating mode by rotating the dial either clockwise or counter-clockwise to align the white mark with the desired mode. In this case, align the white mark with the mode that corresponds to the number of hours you want the devices to remain on after dusk (2hr, 4hr, 6hr, or 8hr).
3. Attach up to two devices to the timer by plugging them into the outlets on the bottom of the timer.
4. The timer will automatically activate at dusk and provide power to the attached devices for the set number of hours. The program cycle will complete before the timer resets.
Please note that once the timer is set to the desired mode, it will activate at dusk every day and remain on for the specified number of hours until it is switched to the "Off" position or to any other operating mode.
If you encounter any issues with the timer not turning on at dusk or not turning off after the set number of hours, please refer to the troubleshooting section in the instruction manual.
