To set up the eMeet C960 1080P Webcam with Microphone on your Mac, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the webcam: Plug the USB cable of the webcam into an available USB port on your Mac.
2. Open camera software: Open camera software such as Quick Time, Photo Booth, Skype, or FaceTime on your Mac.
3. Check webcam detection: Click the Apple Menu in the top left corner of your screen and then click "About this Mac." From the pop-up window, click on "System Report." In the System Information window, navigate to the USB section and check if the webcam is listed as a connected device (Show as "HD Webcam eMeet C960").
4. Select webcam in software: Depending on the software you are using, select the "HD Webcam eMeet C960" as the camera source. For example:
- In Photo Booth: Your system should automatically detect the webcam. If not, try disconnecting and reconnecting the camera or restarting your Mac. If your Mac has a built-in camera, you can choose the "HD Webcam eMeet C960" in Photo Booth.
- In FaceTime: Open FaceTime, click "Video" on the top left of your screen, and choose the "HD Webcam eMeet C960" as the camera source.
- In Skype: Make sure other applications using the webcam are closed. Open Skype, go to Preferences from the Skype menu, select "HD Webcam eMeet C960" in the Microphone and Camera dropdown menus.
5. Adjust settings: In the camera software or application, you may need to adjust the microphone and camera settings. Refer to the specific software's settings or preferences to make any necessary adjustments.
Note: The eMeet C960 Webcam is automatically installed on Macs, and no additional software is required.
