To preheat the Breville BOV800XL Smart Convection Toaster Oven, please follow these steps:
1. Plug in the toaster oven and ensure it is connected to a power source.
2. Open the oven door and remove any accessories or racks that may be inside.
3. Close the oven door and turn the Function dial to the desired cooking function (e.g., Bake, Roast, Toast, etc.).
4. Set the temperature by turning the Temperature dial to the desired temperature. The current temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
5. Press the Start/Cancel button to begin preheating. The oven will start heating up, and the LCD screen will display the current temperature as it rises.
6. Once the oven reaches the set temperature, it will beep to indicate that it is preheated and ready for use.
7. Open the oven door and place your food inside using appropriate oven-safe cookware.
8. Close the oven door and continue with your desired cooking time and settings.
