To clean the , follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the blender.
2. Lift the blending jar by the handle of the power base.
3. Remove the jar base by turning it counterclockwise until it is loose.
4. Remove the gasket and blade assembly. Be careful as the blades are sharp.
5. Remove the lid and lid cap.
6. Wash all removable parts by hand or in your dishwasher. Place the jar on the bottom rack and the rest of the parts on the top rack only.
- Note: Do not place jar parts in boiling liquids.
7. Do not immerse the base in liquid. Wipe the base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
8. Remove stubborn spots by rubbing with a damp cloth and nonabrasive cleaner.
- Note: Do not use rough scouring pads or cleansers on parts or finish.
For quick cleanup, you can also use the following method:
1. Combine 1 cup of hot water and a drop of liquid dish soap in the blending jar.
2. Cover the jar and blend on Speed 1 for about 30 seconds.
3. Discard the liquid and rinse the jar thoroughly.
Remember to allow all parts to air dry completely before storing the blender.
