To pair the Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Control with your camera, please follow these steps:
1. Press the Multi-function button on the remote controller.
2. Choose the self-timer/remote control option on your camera.
3. On the remote controller, press the release (transmit) button.
4. Point the remote controller toward the remote-control sensor on the camera and press the release (transmit) button.
5. When the focus mode switch is set to AF, autofocusing occurs.
6. The remote-control lamp illuminates, and the camera fires.
Please note that the camera must have a built-in receiver to be compatible with the RC-6 Wireless Remote Control. If your camera does not have a built-in receiver, this remote controller will not work with it.
