To pair the OBDLink MX+ with your phone, follow these steps:
1. Plug the OBDLink MX+ into the OBD port of your vehicle.
2. Turn the ignition to the "Key On, Engine Off" position.
3. Push the "Pair" button on the OBDLink MX+ device.
4. On your phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and select "OBDLink MX+" from the list of available devices.
5. Open the OBDLink app on your phone.
6. Tap "Connect" in the app to establish a connection with the OBDLink MX+.
If you encounter any issues with pairing, make sure the Bluetooth LED on the OBDLink MX+ is blinking fast. If problems persist, try disconnecting your phone from all other Bluetooth devices. If the OBDLink device is still not appearing in your phone's Bluetooth device list, you can perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the "Pair" button for 15+ seconds. After the reset, proceed with step 4 to pair the device again.
