To connect the Xbox Controller + Cable for Windows to your PC, you have two options:
1. Wired Connection:
- Plug one end of the micro-USB cable into the controller.
- Plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on your computer.
- The controller should be automatically recognized and ready to use.
2. Bluetooth Connection (Windows 10 only):
- In your system tray, right-click the Bluetooth icon.
- Select "Add a Bluetooth Device" from the menu.
- Choose "Bluetooth" from the "Add Bluetooth or other Device" menu.
- "Xbox Wireless Controller" should appear in the list.
- Wait until the Guide button on the controller turns solid white and the Bluetooth menu indicates that the controller has been connected.
Please note that for the Bluetooth connection, your PC must have Windows 10 installed and the controller must have the Windows 10 anniversary update.
