There could be a few reasons why your GAIATOP K-116 Space Heater is not turning on. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the power supply: Ensure that the power plug is securely inserted into a functioning power outlet with the correct voltage (110 V - 120 V). Make sure the socket is well grounded and has a rated current of more than 10A.
2. Verify the back-power switch: Turn on the back-power switch located at the back of the heater. This switch energizes the whole machine and puts it in standby mode.
3. Check the leg assembly: The safety features of the heater may prevent it from turning on if the leg pieces are not assembled correctly. Ensure that all three legs are securely attached and in the correct positions. One leg is shorter than the other two, so make sure you place them correctly.
4. Reset the heater: If the above steps do not work, try resetting the heater. Turn off the back-power switch, unplug the power plug, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn on the back-power switch again.
If none of these steps resolve the issue and the heater still does not turn on, it may be a malfunction or defect. In such cases, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer or their customer support for further assistance or to initiate a return or exchange if applicable.
