According to the instruction manual, it is recommended to oil the blades of the trimmer approximately once a month or when necessary. To oil the blades, turn the trimmer on and hold it with the blades facing downward. Squeeze three drops of Wahl Clipper Oil across the front of the blade and one drop on each side of the heel of the blade. Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth. It is important not to over-oil the blades, as excessive oiling or the application of liquids can cause damage if allowed to seep back into the motor.
