To descale the Papablic electric steam sterilizer and dryer, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance and wait until it has cooled down completely.
2. Prepare a solution of 800ml (2.7oz) of white vinegar (5% acetic acid) and 20ml (0.7oz) of water.
3. Pour the solution into the heating plate of the sterilizer and dryer.
4. Leave the solution in the heating plate until the limescale has dissolved. This may take some time, depending on the severity of the limescale buildup.
5. Empty the heating plate and wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
6. Repeat the descaling process as often as necessary to keep the sterilizer and dryer free from limescale.
Caution: Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down before descaling. Do not rinse the appliance under a tap, and never squirt water into the drying air outlet when pouring out the remaining solution. If the limescale buildup is severe, you can use citric acid or common descaling agents to remove it.
