To connect the D-Link 10-100BASE-TX Fiber Interface Converters to your network, follow these steps:
1. Connect the fiber interface cables to the DFE-855 series product. There are two connectors provided for fiber optic cable connection, one labeled "Tx" for transmission and the other labeled "Rx" for reception of optical data.
2. Using a straight or crossover UTP cable, connect the Ethernet connection to the appropriate RJ-45 jack on the converter.
3. Install the fiber converter with the AC power adapter provided (9V AC/AC) and connect the adapter to an AC outlet.
Please refer to the installation guide for more detailed instructions and illustrations on the connection scheme for different scenarios, such as connecting from a 100BASE-TX port of a hub to a 100BASE-TX Network Interface Card (NIC) in a computer through the fiber converter.
Note: Make sure to follow the safety precautions mentioned in the manual and ensure that the equipment is installed and used in accordance with the provided instructions to avoid any potential interference or damage.
