To connect the TSM23P Integrated Step Servo Motor to a power supply, follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have a 12 - 70 volt DC power supply available.
2. Use a small flat blade screwdriver (included) to tighten the connectors.
3. Connect the power supply's positive terminal to the drive's positive terminal using 16 to 20-gauge wire.
4. Connect the power supply's negative terminal to the drive's negative terminal using 16 to 20-gauge wire.
5. Be careful not to reverse the wires. Reversing the connection may open the internal fuse and void the warranty.
6. If you are using a regulated power supply, there may be an issue with regeneration. In such cases, you can use an Applied Motion Products RC880 Regeneration Clamp. For more information, refer to the Applied Motion Products website or the TSM23P Hardware Manual.
Please note that it is essential to follow the instructions carefully and ensure all connections are made before applying power to the drive.
