To set up the SPORTS ATTACK Elite eHack Attack Electronic Baseball Pitching Machine, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a standard 115-volt, 20-amp single-phase 3-wire grounded power source.
2. If using an extension cord, make sure it is the appropriate size based on the distance from the power source. Up to 50 feet, use a minimum #14/3 grounded 3-wire. 50 to 100 feet, use a minimum #12/3 grounded 3-wire. Over 100 feet, consult a licensed electrician for the required power cord size.
3. Do not use the machine with any generator, as it can cause damage and system failure.
4. Before powering up the machine, wait for 20 seconds after turning it off or if it gets unplugged. Failure to do so can lead to garbled/unreadable screen displays.
5. Turn on the machine by flipping the on/off switch located on the left side of the machine to "on". The software will load, which takes about 10-15 seconds.
6. Once the Welcome Page appears, press the "Set Up Machine" button to align the Elite prior to pitching to a batter.
7. If a password has been created, you can select "Set Password" to enter the password.
8. Align the machine to the middle of the strike zone by using the vertical and horizontal adjustments. Throw test pitches to ensure the machine is centered.
9. Select the desired pitch type from the Main Menu, either Standard Pitches or Manual Pitches.
10. Adjust the pitch speed using the UP or DOWN arrows on the SPEED display.
11. Save or add the pitch to a sequence or favorite list as desired.
12. Adjust any other machine settings or preferences in the Settings menu if needed.
13. Once the machine is set up and ready, select "Ready" to start pitching.
