To connect the HOFTRONIC RGBWW Finn Smart Recessed Downlight to the Hoftronic Smart App, please follow these steps:
1. Download the Hoftronic Smart App: Scan the QR code provided in the manual or search for "Hoftronic Smart" in either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download and install the app.
2. Register and sign in to the Hoftronic Smart App: Upon opening the app, you will be prompted to register by entering your mobile number or email address. The system will automatically recognize your country/area. If you use a mobile number, you will receive a text message with a confirmation code to complete your account registration.
3. Add the lamp to the Hoftronic Smart App: Tap the "+" icon on the top right corner of the "Home" page. Choose "Lighting" and select your device type - Smart light (WIFI+BLE). Follow the instructions provided to connect the lamp. The lamp needs to be set to flash rapidly. Please ensure that your router, mobile device, and lamp are as close as possible during the connection process.
4. Enter Wi-Fi password and connect: When prompted, enter your Wi-Fi password and connect. Make sure your router, mobile device, and lamp are in close proximity for a stable connection.
5. Lamp control and customization: After successful connection, the lamp will appear in your list within the app, and you can control it from anywhere in the world. You can also rename the lamp and group multiple lamps together for easier management.
Please note that it is recommended to have a qualified electrician install the HOFTRONIC RGBWW Finn Smart Recessed Downlight, ensuring compliance with current IEE wiring regulations and local building control.
