To change the temperature settings on the Haier 34005198 Fridge-Freezer, follow these steps:
1. With the fridge door open, locate the mode key on the control panel.
2. Press the mode key to enter the temperature setting mode.
3. Each time you press the mode key, the temperature setting will increase, and the corresponding LED light will turn on.
4. An acoustic signal will be made each time the mode key is pressed and the temperature is changed.
5. In case of a power loss, the last cooling level set will be restored.
6. To restore the default temperature setting, with the screen lit, press and hold the TEMP button, and then press the ON/OFF button five times within five seconds.
It is recommended to set the temperature at 4 °C under normal operating conditions in spring and autumn. In summer, when the ambient temperature is high, it is recommended to set the temperature at 6-8 °C to reduce the refrigerator's continuous running time. In winter, when the ambient temperature is low, it is recommended to set the temperature at 2-4 °C to avoid frequent start/stop of the refrigerator.
