To install the CPU on the ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus D4 Motherboard, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the motherboard is placed on a flat and stable surface.
2. Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard. It is usually located near the center of the board and is covered by a protective plastic cover.
3. Lift the lever on the side of the CPU socket to an upright position. This will release the cover and allow you to access the socket.
4. Carefully remove the protective cover from the socket by gently lifting it upwards.
5. Align the notches on the CPU with the corresponding tabs on the socket. Take note of the triangle or gold arrow on the CPU, as it should align with the triangle or gold arrow on the socket.
6. Gently place the CPU into the socket, ensuring that it is properly aligned.
7. Once the CPU is in place, gently lower the lever back to its original position. This will secure the CPU in the socket.
8. Double-check that the CPU is securely installed by ensuring that the lever is fully closed and locked.
