To connect the SV7-Si Servo Motor Driver to your PC, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the Si Programmer™ software from the Applied Motion Products website.
2. Launch the Si Programmer software by clicking on Start / Programs / Applied Motion Products / Si Programmer.
3. Connect the SV7-Si drive to your PC using the supplied programming cable. If your PC does not have a serial port, you will need a USB to serial port (RS-232) adapter.
4. Once the drive is connected, select the appropriate COM port in the Si Programmer software.
5. Apply power to the drive. It is important to note that you should not apply power until all connections to the drive have been made.
6. The Si Programmer software will recognize the drive and update the main program to reflect appropriate configuration options.
