To properly connect the THOMSON HiFi Bookshelf Speakers to your audio system, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that all parts of the system are properly connected before plugging in the power supply.
2. Make sure to connect the positive and negative speaker wiring correctly to avoid short circuits.
3. For the best audio quality, it is recommended to use a signal connection cable with good shielding.
4. Firmly insert the plugs into their respective ports. Poor contact may result in noise or no signal output.
5. On the rear panel of the speakers, you will find various input and output ports. Connect your audio sources to the corresponding ports based on the type of connection:
- Optical signal input: Use an optical cable to connect your audio source (e.g., TV, DVD player) to this port.
- Subwoofer signal output: If you have a subwoofer, connect it to this port using an appropriate cable.
- Coaxial signal input: Connect your audio source (e.g., CD player) to this port using a coaxial cable.
- CD/DVD signal input: Use RCA cables to connect your CD/DVD player to these ports.
- HIFI input/output: Connect other audio devices to these ports using RCA cables.
- Left and right speaker terminals: Connect the corresponding speaker wires from the speakers to these terminals.
6. Once all the connections are made, you can now plug in the power supply and turn on the speakers using the power switch on the front panel.
Please refer to the THOMSON HiFi Bookshelf Speakers User Manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams on the system connection and setup process.
