To make custom-sized bags with the NESCO 130W Vacuum Sealer V3520, follow these steps:
1. Open the lid of the vacuum sealer and locate the roll storage area.
2. Insert a roll of vacuum bag material into the roll storage area.
3. Pull out enough bag material to hold the item you want to vacuum package, plus an additional 2 inches.
4. Use the embedded cutter on the sealer to cut the desired bag length from the roll. Make sure to cut in a straight line.
5. Plug in the power cord of the vacuum sealer.
6. Place one end of the cut bag onto the sealing strip, making sure not to place any material onto the gasket area.
7. Close the lid of the vacuum sealer by pressing down on both sides until you hear two "click" sounds.
8. Press the "SEAL" button to create a custom-sized bag. The indicator light will illuminate during the sealing process.
9. Once the sealing process is complete, the indicator light of the seal button will turn off.
10. Press the release buttons on both sides of the machine to unlock the lid.
11. Take out the newly created custom-sized bag.
Note: When using the vacuum sealer for the first time, the sealing line may not be well done. This is because the heating bar needs time to reheat. If the sealing is not satisfactory, try again.
Remember to give the appliance time to cool down between seals. Wait at least 20 seconds before sealing another bag. If the appliance shuts off automatically due to heavy usage, wait 25 minutes for it to cool off before using it again.
