To replace the batteries in your KaWe ophthalmoscope, please follow these steps:
1. For KaWe EUROLIGHT E10/E15/E16/E25/E30/E35/E36:
- Remove the ophthalmoscope head from the handle.
- Unscrew the retaining xxxx on the handle (for E15/E16 models).
- Push down on the wickered sleeve (for E25/E30/E35/E36 models).
- Remove the old batteries from the handle.
- Insert new batteries into the handle, observing the correct polarity and voltage (2.5 or 3.5 V).
- Reattach the ophthalmoscope head to the handle.
2. For KaWe PICCOLIGHT E50/E56:
- Unscrew the ophthalmoscope head from the handle.
- Remove the old batteries from the handle.
- Insert new batteries into the handle, observing the correct polarity (2 pcs. AA 1.5V minion).
- xxxx the ophthalmoscope head back onto the handle.
It is important to use new, high-quality alkaline batteries or fully charged batteries for replacement. Regularly check the battery charge to ensure optimal performance. If the light intensity decreases even with new batteries, it may be necessary to clean or replace the lamp. Please refer to the manual for lamp replacement instructions.
