The Oral-B toothbrush takes about 22 hours to fully charge. It is recommended to plug the charging unit into an electrical outlet and place the toothbrush handle on the charging unit for a full charge. Once fully charged, the handle can be stored on the plugged-in charging unit to maintain it at full power. Overcharging is not possible.
