To connect the Luna G3 device to your mask, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the device is placed on a firm, flat surface.
2. Connect the power cord: Insert the plug of the power adapter into the DC inlet on the back of the device. Connect the power cord to the power adapter. Plug the other end of the power cord into the power outlet.
- Note: If you have a BPAP device, refer to page 4 of the User Guide for instructions on connecting the Power Cord Locker.
3. Connect the end of the tubing to the air outlet of the device.
- If you are using heated tubing, connect the heated tubing joint to the air outlet of the device, and then insert the power plug into the heated tubing port on the back of the device.
4. Connect the other end of the tubing to the mask according to the user manual for the mask.
5. Press down the water chamber, remove it, and open the water chamber cap. Fill the water chamber with approximately 360 ml of water.
6. Close the cap after filling the water chamber and return it to the device.
7. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot.
8. Connect the device to a power outlet, press the Start/Stop button, and the device will start delivering air.
9. Fit your mask according to the fitting instructions provided by the manufacturer. If you received a mask with multiple cushions, follow the instructions below:
- There is a mask cushion currently attached to the frame of your mask. This size fits most patients. If your mask is leaking or feels uncomfortable, try removing the existing cushion and replacing it with a different size cushion. If you are between sizes, it is best to use the larger cushion. Use the Fitting Template (for nasal mask and full face mask) and/or the manufacturer's instructions included with your mask for help.
10. Put on your mask.
11. Attach the tubing to the PAP machine.
12. Attach the tubing to your mask. If you are using prescribed oxygen, consult page 11 of your Apria Sleep Therapy User Guide.
13. Lie down and take four deep breaths. The machine should start automatically. If you do not hear the machine start, press the Start Therapy/Standby button. Relax and begin to take slow breaths through your nose.
14. Check for air leaks. Small leaks are acceptable. If large leaks occur, consult your Apria Sleep Therapy User Guide.
15. Your setup is complete, and you are now ready to begin your PAP therapy.
Please make sure to follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions provided and review the recommended supply replacement schedule. If you have any further questions or need assistance with setting up your device, please call Apria or visit Apria.com/Sleep.
