To wire the STAC6-C Stepper Drives, follow these steps:
1. Wire the drive to the AC power source: Connect the drive to the appropriate AC power source (120VAC for STAC6-C or 220VAC for STAC6-C-220). Do not apply power until Step 3. If using an external fuse, it is recommended to use a 6 amp fast-acting fuse for STAC6-C or a 3 amp fast-acting fuse for STAC6-C-220. Make sure to refer to the hardware manual for more information on connecting AC power and ensure a proper earth-ground connection.
2. Connect the drive to the motor: Refer to the wiring diagrams provided in the STAC6 Hardware Manual for details on how to properly connect the drive to the motor. Make sure to use the appropriate connectors and follow the recommended motor connections.
3. Connect the I/O: Connect the input/output (I/O) signals according to your specific application requirements. The STAC6 Hardware Manual provides detailed information on the available I/O connections and their functions.
4. Connect the Encoder: If you are using an encoder with the STAC6-C Stepper Drives, follow the instructions in the hardware manual to properly connect and configure the encoder.
