To install the CPU on the ASUS Prime Z790-P D4 Motherboard, follow these steps:

Step 2: Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard. It is usually located near the center of the board.
Step 3: Lift the lever on the side of the socket to open the CPU socket cover.
Step 4: Align the notches on the CPU with the notches on the socket. Make sure the CPU is properly oriented.
Step 5: Gently place the CPU into the socket, ensuring that all the pins on the CPU are aligned with the holes in the socket.
Step 6: Once the CPU is properly seated, lower the lever to secure the CPU in place. The lever should be in a locked position.
Step 7: Double-check that the CPU is securely installed by gently pressing down on it. It should not move or come loose.
