To connect the FOR-X XQ-500.1D Mono Car Amplifier to your car's audio system, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of input signal you will be using. The amplifier supports High/Low level RCA signal input. If you are using RCA cables, connect them to the RCA input jacks on the amplifier. If you are using speaker level inputs, choose the SPK IN option and connect the speaker wires from your car's audio system to the corresponding terminals on the amplifier.
2. Set the input sensitivity according to your chosen input type. If you are using the PRE IN option, the input sensitivity range is 0.35-3.5V. If you are using the SPK IN option, the input sensitivity range is 0.7-7V. Adjust the gain control xxxx on the front panel of the amplifier to achieve the desired input level.
3. Connect the amplifier to the power source. Connect the GND terminal to the grounding cable of your car's power supply. Install a fuse within 20 centimeters from the positive terminal of the battery.
4. Connect your speakers correctly. Ensure that the speaker cables are connected with the correct polarity, meaning positive to positive and negative to negative. Never connect speaker cables with chassis ground directly, as it may damage the amplifier.
5. Connect the remote control terminal. Use a remote control cable to connect the REM terminal of the amplifier to the remote terminal of your car's source unit. This will enable the amplifier to switch on and off automatically with the source unit.
