To install and connect the T-SPEC VBDB4 Dual Input 4 Way Power Ground Remote Distribution Block, please follow these steps:
1. Determine the appropriate location for the distribution block in your vehicle. It should be placed in a secure and easily accessible area.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery to prevent any electrical accidents during the installation process.
3. Connect the positive and negative power wires from your vehicle's battery to the dual 0/1 AWG positive and negative inputs on the distribution block. Use appropriate connectors and ensure a secure connection.
4. Connect the remote turn-on wire from your amplifier to the remote booster PCB board on the distribution block. This board will convert the low current input into a high current output for the remote outputs.
5. Connect your audio system's remote, power, and ground wires to the four mated 4 AWG output sets on the distribution block. These outputs are grouped together for easy identification.
6. If desired, you can use the blown fuse indicator (BFI) LED lights to monitor the status of each circuit. If a fuse blows, the corresponding LED will light up, indicating the need for replacement.
7. The distribution block includes three spare MANL fuse locations built inside the case for quick and easy replacement. Simply insert a new fuse into the appropriate slot if needed.
8. Once all connections are made, double-check all connections and ensure they are secure.
9. Reconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
10. Test your audio system to ensure proper functionality.
