To set the humidity level on the GMCDH-12 Dehumidifier, follow these steps:
1. Press the "-" pad to decrease the humidity level or the "+" pad to increase the humidity level.
2. The humidity level can be set within a range of 80% RH (Relative Humidity) in 5% increments.
3. For drier air, press the "-" pad and set to a lower percent value (%).
4. For damper air, press the "+" pad and set to a higher percent value (%).
5. When you first use the dehumidifier, it is recommended to set the humidity control to 45% or 50% and allow at least 24 hours for the dehumidifier to achieve the desired humidity level.
6. If you still have damper air than desired, set the humidity level to a lower setting or select continuous mode for maximum dehumidification.
