To install the AMERICAN LIGHTING Trulux DMX-3Z Touch Control Controller, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the controller and cut a hole approximately 1-3/4 wide x 2-5/8 high.
2. At the base of the controller, there is a slot where the faceplate meets the mounting plate. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot to separate the two pieces.
3. Bring a 12-24V DC power supply to the controller, ensuring the polarity matches.
4. Connect the controller to the DMX512 receiver, matching the inputs and outputs: Ground to Ground, D- to D-, D+ to D+.
5. Set the mounting plate into the cut hole.
6. Secure the mounting plate to the surface using appropriate screws on both the top and bottom of the controller.
7. Place the faceplate cover over the mounting plate and snap it into place.
Please note that the controller requires a 12-24V DC power supply (LED-DR series driver sold separately) and a DMX512 Signal receiver for operation (REC-DMX-5A-4Z or REC-DMX-5A-4Z-PLUS sold separately).
