To perform an Auto Gradation Adjustment on the LOFFLER Konica Minolta i-Series, please follow these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select Utility. (If you are using an older model, select the "Utility/Counter" button.)
2. Select Expert Adjustment.
3. Log in with the administrator password.
4. Select Gradation Adjustment.
5. Choose Image Stabilization Only and press Start.
6. Wait for the machine to finish processing the stabilization. Once completed, the Print and Copy options will be available.
7. If you are experiencing irregular gradation in printed images, select Print. If the issue occurs with copied images, select Copy.
8. Press Start.
9. Select the paper size you want to use (8.5x11 or 11x17) and press Start. A test pattern will be printed.
10. Place the test pattern on the glass according to the orientation indicated on the touch panel.
11. Tip: To prevent light from passing through the page, keep the lid shut and add extra pieces of paper on top of the test pattern (3-5 sheets should be enough).
12. Press Start. The test pattern will be scanned, and the gradation level will be adjusted.
13. Repeat steps 7 to 12 a few more times (2-4) to further correct the color.
14. If the color still seems off after performing the Auto Gradation Adjustment, it is recommended to place a service call for a technician to inspect the machine.
