To install the BOSCH 806657 Soundbar Wall Bracket, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary tools, including a wallboard and a wood stud. Note that the bracket is not designed for masonry surfaces.
2. Open the included 2-sided template. There are a total of 4 templates, with each page showing 2 templates. Use these templates to identify the correct one for your soundbar.
3. Adjust the rubber feet at the bottom of the soundbar with the brackets printed in the same position on the template. This will help you identify the correct template for your soundbar.
4. Read and keep all safety and use instructions provided in the manual. It is important to follow these instructions for safe installation.
5. Only use the mounting hardware supplied with the product. Do not make unauthorized alterations to the product.
6. Ensure that you mount the bracket on sturdy surfaces and avoid mounting on surfaces with concealed hazards such as electrical wiring or plumbing. If you are unsure about installing the bracket, it is recommended to contact a qualified professional installer. Install the bracket according to local building codes.
7. The bracket is suitable for mounting on wallboard that is at least 33⁄88" (10 mm) thick. If you want to mount the bracket on surfaces other than wallboard, please consult a professional installer.
8. Due to ventilation requirements, it is not recommended to place the soundbar or the bracket in a confined space such as a wall cavity or an enclosed cabinet.
9. Avoid placing or installing the bracket or soundbar near heat sources such as fireplaces, radiators, heat registers, or other heat-producing apparatus.
