To send a fax using the Canon ImageRUNNER ADVANCE DX copier, follow these steps:
1. From the Main Menu screen, select the Fax icon.
2. Place your document face up in the document feeder or on the glass platen.
3. Enter the destination number using one of two methods:
a. Using the number pad: If you need to access an outside line, enter that number first, followed by the destination number. For example, if you need to dial 9 to get an outside line and the destination number is 919529256801, you would enter 919529256801.
b. Using the Address Book: Select Address Book and choose the desired fax number from the registered list.
4. Select any additional options you may need, such as 2-sided original, mixed sizes, or resolution. If you require more advanced features like job build, select the Options button.
5. Press the green "START" button to begin faxing.
