To clean the grease filter on the NOVY 7830 Wall-Mounted Range Hood, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the appliance and disconnect the power supply.
2. Open the glass plate on the front of the hood and remove the grease filters.
3. Clean the grease filters by hand or in a dishwasher. If cleaning by hand, immerse the filters in a solution of boiling water with a degreasing detergent. Use a brush to scrub the filters. Rinse them with warm water and allow them to dry. If cleaning in a dishwasher, use a dishwasher detergent and select a program with a low temperature. Do not put the filters together with crockery in the dishwasher.
4. Before replacing the grease filters, clean the edges of the part in the extractor hood where the filters are placed.
5. Grasp the filters with two hands and make sure the lock or lip on the filters is on the bottom side.
6. Insert the back of the filters into the opening, press the filters upwards at the front, and make sure they click tight.
7. Reassemble the parts, ensuring the filters are properly fitted and locked tightly.
8. Restore the electrical power to the cooker hood.
Note: It is recommended to reset the cleaning indicator after replacing the grease filters. To do this, press the "2" key for 5 seconds. If you do not reset the indicator, it will continue to flash when switching on the extractor hood.
