To attach and remove accessories on the DEWALT DWE315 Oscillating Multi-Tool, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the tool is turned off and disconnected from the power source.
2. Grasp the tool and squeeze the accessory clamping lever located on the side of the tool.
3. Clean any debris from the tool shaft and the accessory holder.
4. Slide the accessory between the shaft and the accessory holder, making sure the accessory engages all eight pins on the holder and is flush with the shaft. Ensure the accessory is oriented correctly.
5. Release the accessory clamping lever to secure the accessory in place.
To remove an accessory, simply reverse the process:
1. Make sure the tool is turned off and disconnected from the power source.
2. Grasp the tool and squeeze the accessory clamping lever.
3. Remove the accessory by sliding it out from between the shaft and the accessory holder.
It is important to note that some accessories, such as scrapers and blades, can be mounted at an angle if required. Always ensure that the accessory is securely tightened before use to avoid any potential hazards.
