To connect the Globe 50589 Smart Bulb to the Amazon Alexa app, please follow these steps:
1. Download the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile device.
2. Power on the smart bulb and ensure it is screwed in and powered on.
3. Launch the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile device.
4. Select "Add a Device" in the app.
5. Choose "Bulb" and locate Globe Electric from the list of available devices.
6. Follow the in-app instructions on how to scan the 2D barcode on the smart bulb. The device will automatically be in pairing mode for 5 minutes once powered on. When you scan the barcode, the white light on the bulb will flash to indicate successful pairing. If it doesn't connect within 5 minutes, turn the device off and on again to re-enter pairing mode.
7. If you don't have a barcode, select "Don't have a barcode?" in the Alexa app and follow the in-app instructions on how to connect without a 2D barcode.
8. Once connected, you can control the smart bulb using voice commands with Alexa or through the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile device.
