To mount the MechaTronix IceLED Ultra Active Star LED Cooler, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a high thermal conductive interface between the LED module and the LED cooler. MechaTronix recommends using thermal grease, a thermal pad, or a phase change thermal pad with a thickness of 0.1-0.15mm. These thermal pads can be preapplied by MechaTronix.
2. Identify the specific model of the Luminus COB Array you are using. The mounting instructions may vary depending on the model.
3. For Luminus Gen 4 COB Array (Model name: CXM-32), you can directly mount it using 2 self-tapping screws M3 x 6mm. Look for the red indicator marks on the LED cooler for guidance.
4. For Luminus Gen 3 COB Array (Model name: CXM-32 AC), the mounting procedure is the same as the Gen 4 COB Array. Directly mount it using 2 self-tapping screws M3 x 6mm, aligning with the red indicator marks on the LED cooler.
5. For Luminus Studio COB Gen 4 (Model name: CVM-32), again, you will need to directly mount it using 2 self-tapping screws M3 x 6mm. Make sure to align the screws with the red indicator marks on the LED cooler.
