To install the Casa Systems 4G and 5G Network Extender 4 for Enterprise, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided with the product. Here is a summary of the installation process:
1. Safety Precautions:
- Read and understand the installation instructions and safety warnings before connecting the device to the power source.
- Operate the device only with the supplied power adapter.
- Do not cover or block the airflow to the device with any objects.
- Be aware that the plastic and cords on the product contain phthalates, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
2. FCC Compliance:
- The device complies with FCC part 15 FCC Rules.
- It should not cause harmful interference and must accept any interference that may cause undesired operation.
- Any changes or modifications not approved by the responsible party could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

4. Port Connections:
- Connect the antenna and GPS cables to their respective ports on the eFemto.
5. Prerequisites:
- Ensure that you have the required backhaul bandwidth and specific firewall settings for optimum performance. Refer to the User Guide for detailed information.
- The eFemto requires a strong GPS signal from the provided indoor GPS antenna. Install the GPS antenna as instructed in the guide.
6. Placement:
- Choose a location for the eFemto that is central to users but no more than 21 feet from an exterior window or wall to allow for a strong GPS signal.
- Place the unit at least 10 feet away from products that generate electromagnetic radiation, such as a microwave oven.
7. Mounting Procedure:
- Use the supplied screws and anchors for drywall mounting. For other surfaces, purchase appropriate anchors and hardware.
- Mark anchor holes on the wall using the wall mounting bracket as a template.
- Drill holes into the wall and insert the supplied plastic drywall anchors.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the supplied screws.
- Slide the eFemto with the mounting bracket into the wall mounting bracket and fasten the retaining screws.
8. Ethernet and Power Connections:
- Connect the supplied Ethernet cable from your router or modem LAN port to the eFemto WAN/PoE port for network connectivity.
- Plug in the Power Supply and insert the power cable into the eFemto Power port. The device will automatically start up and initialize.
9. Startup:
- During the first startup, the eFemto will conduct self-configuration, which may take between 30 to 60 minutes.
- The Status LED will blink green upon successful setup.
10. Optional Accessories:
- Power over Ethernet (POE) devices and other optional accessories can be viewed and ordered from the manufacturer's website.
11. Troubleshooting:
- If there is no GPS signal, check the GPS status in the Advanced Settings web interface.
- To check if your wireless device is connected to the eFemto, sign in to the Advanced Settings web interface and check the Connected Devices panel.
- If you cannot reach the eFemto GUI or are locked out of the device, press the RESET button for 10 seconds to reset the system to factory default settings.
