To set the time on your TIMEX Finisterre 41mm Fabric Strap Watch, follow these steps:
1. Pull the crown out to the "C" position.
2. Turn the crown in either direction to set the correct time. Take note that the date advances between 9 PM and 12 AM.
3. Push the crown back in to the "A" position.
To set the date on your watch, follow these steps:
1. Pull the crown out to the "B" position.
2. Turn the crown in either direction to set the correct date.
3. Push the crown back in to the "A" position.
Please note that the date function should not be set between 9 PM and 12 AM, as it may cause damage to the watch. If you need to set the date during this time frame, rotate the crown at a very slow rate to avoid damaging the watch and set the date for the following day. When resetting the time and date after a battery change, it is recommended to set the time to the date before the current date and then advance the hands until the date changes to the current date, and then continue advancing the hands to the current time.
For setting the Tide Cycle Hand on your watch, please consult the local tide timetable before proceeding. Follow these steps:
1. Push and hold pusher "A" for approximately one second to activate the setting mode. The tide cycle hand will advance one position as the setting mode is activated.
2. Push pusher "A" to advance the tide cycle hand one position. If you want to advance it quickly, you can push and hold pusher "A". Repeat this step until the tide cycle hand is in the desired position.
Please note that if pusher "A" is not pushed within 10 seconds of the setting mode being activated, the setting mode will be automatically deactivated to prevent accidental resetting of the tide cycle hand.
