The IKEA MALA Paint Mixed Colours are specifically designed for use on whiteboards. While it is possible to use them on paper, it is important to note that doing so may decrease the lifespan of the pen. The ink may not adhere as well to paper and may result in a less intense color. It is recommended to store the pen horizontally when not in use. If the color becomes less intense over time, you can try storing the pen vertically with the tip pointed down for 12 hours to revive the color. However, for optimal results, it is best to use the MALA Paint Mixed Colours on whiteboards as intended.
Please note that the whiteboard pen may leave permanent marks on most surfaces and materials. If you accidentally get the ink on surfaces where it is not desired, it is recommended to immediately wash the area with a stain remover. Additionally, it is always advisable to protect children's clothes and the surrounding floor when using the MALA Paint Mixed Colours.
