To set the thermostat on the FK1 Fan Heater, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the appliance is plugged into a grounded wall outlet and the mode selector switch is in the "0" position.
2. Locate the thermostat on the appliance (labeled as number 4 in Figure 1).
3. Turn the thermostat clockwise to set a higher temperature or counterclockwise to set a lower temperature.
4. In modes I and II, the appliance will switch on when the ambient air temperature falls below the value set on the thermostat.
5. As the set temperature is reached, the fan and heating elements will turn off.
6. The operation indicator light will illuminate if the appliance is operating in mode I or II. If the thermostat switches the appliance off, the indicator light will turn off.
Note: If you notice that the operation indicator light is on in mode I or II and the fan is on but the appliance is not heating, the overheating protection may have been activated. In this case, set the thermostat to its maximum setting and if the heating fails to activate, the safety cutoff has been activated. Power off the unit, allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes, check for any obstructions in the air inlets and outlets, and clean them if necessary. If the problem persists, contact the service facility for assistance.
