The installation process for the ORSKEY Dash Cam is straightforward. Here are the steps to install it in your car:
1. Mounting the Dash Cam:
- Choose a suitable location on your car's windshield to mount the dash cam. It should have a clear view of the road ahead.
- Clean the area where you plan to mount the dash cam using the included cleaning cloth.
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive side of the mount.
- Press the mount firmly against the windshield for a few seconds to ensure it sticks securely.
2. Power Connection:
- Connect the provided power cable to the dash cam's power input port.
- Route the cable along the car's interior, hiding it from view as much as possible.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into the car's cigarette lighter socket or USB port.
3. Adjusting the Camera Angle:
- The dash cam's lens can be rotated to adjust the camera angle. Gently twist it until you achieve the desired position.
4. Powering On and Setting Up:
- Once the dash cam is connected to power, it will automatically turn on and start recording.
- Use the buttons on the dash cam or the included remote control to access the settings menu.
- Follow the instructions in the user manual to configure the desired settings, such as video resolution, loop recording, and motion detection.
