To install the Ottobock 4R72 Titanium Double Adapters in your prosthetic limb, please follow these steps:
1. Clean the threads of the xxxx connections before every installation.
2. Apply the specified torque values when tightening the set screws.
3. Use a torque wrench (e.g., 710D20) to tighten the set screws to 10 Nm during fitting.
4. For definitive assembly, secure the set screws with Loctite after pre-tightening them to 10 Nm and then tighten them to 15 Nm.
5. If any set screws are protruding or recessed too much, replace them with appropriate set screws according to the selection chart provided in the manual.
6. The set screws in the pyramid receiver can be used to make static adjustments during alignment, trial fittings, and after the prosthesis is finished.
7. To maintain the set position of the prosthetic component during replacement or disassembly, unscrew the two set screws that are screwed in the furthest and located next to each other.
8. Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth and dry it with a soft cloth. Allow it to air dry to remove residual moisture.
9. Inspect the prosthetic components after the first 30 days of use and conduct annual safety inspections.
10. Dispose of the product according to the information provided by the responsible authorities in your country regarding return, collection, and disposal procedures.
